Remz skates (originally 'Remedyz') started life in the garage of Kato Mateu as a truly home-made, hand-constructed masterpiece. With the help of Sunshine distribution (also making the Razors skates brand) Remz transformed into the boot / mould we know today. Wide soul plates, thick liner and the staple Remz outer skin which covers the boot are what makes this skate so recognisable. Remz invented the 'v-cut' which gives the user the ability to point their toe when jumping. These days the Remz skate models feature a cuff which can be easily cut to shape by the user, allowing the user to choose to V-cut or not.
