Collection: Skatepark Skates
Traditional Roller Skates being used for tricks, stunts, ramps and grinds...
Traditional Roller Skates being used for tricks, stunts, ramps and grinds is a fairly new phenomenon. These models are built tougher than regular quad roller skates with extra durability, support and often with parts that allow for grinding tricks in a skatepark or on street obstacles.

Pioneered by the 'Chick in Bowls' (CIB) movement skating in a skatepark was very much an activity which was forged off the back of the Roller Derby scene. With hard, fast wheels and protective gear aplenty, many Roller Derby skaters realised that they were well-equipped for a session at the local skatepark. Skatepark roller-skates are made tough and durable to withstand the brutal nature of riding ramps and grinding rails. They often feature extra parts (like slide plates) to allow the user to perform specific skatepark based tricks.
