Size Swaps are FREE for UK customers only. We are unable to swap sizes or exchange items for international orders (but you can return for a refund)
1. Check your item
Check your item is unused with undamaged packaging. Include all tools/manuals/stickers/bags that arrived as part of your original order (including any free gifts).
2. Wrap your item
Items must be well packaged. Please do not attach packaging tape or returns labels directly to the box. Tip: Re-use the packaging that we sent the parcel in if its still in tact. Bin liners also work well!
3. Book Your Parcel
Click the button at the bottom of this page to book a DPD or Royal Mail return. You will get a return label or QR code for the return store to print a return label for you. Returns cost £2.99 per consignment, we'll deduct this from your final refund. If you are returning multiple sets of skates in a large box we would advise selecting a DPD return.

4. Send Your Parcel
Drop your parcel at a drop point (you'll see the closest the ones to you). Bring the QR code for them to scan (or print the label and attach it to the parcel if preferred). Please allow us 5 working days to process refunds.
While we offer a 365 day return period, please only process a return when you are ready to post your order back to us as return labels can expire before our returns period.
Using our portal gives you access to our discounted international shipping rates. You will see the final cost of the return before you process it.
This is usually cheaper and more convenient than sending via your local postal service, but you are of course welcome to return items via your own postal methods if you wish too.
The return shipping fee will not be charged to you at the point of processing your return, instead, the return shipping fee will be deducted from your final refund.
Please note:
- Return costs via our portal are often HIGHER than the outbound cost of delivery. (This is because we often partially subsidise the cost of your original outbound delivery to reduce costs for customers).
- Apologies, we can not refund your original delivery costs (if you paid any) or any Taxes & Duties incurred on the original order.
- Please wrap the parcel suitably. Please do not affix any tape or labels DIRECTLY on the product packaging (just wrap it in a postal bag or a bin bag (or similar) and tape the outer packaging to itself.
- Items must be unused and in their original, undamaged packaging.
- If your return meets all our conditions then your refund will be processed within 3-5 days of it arriving with us, please be aware that your bank may take 3-5 days to show the refund on your statement.
- If you have a warranty related issue with the item you have received, please email hello@locoskates.com to discuss this before processing a return.
- LocoSkates reserve the right not to accept returns of items which have been returned without their original packaging or with the goods or packaging damaged. In some special cases we may be willing to deduct from your refund an amount which relates to the costs incurred by LocoSkates for replacing the packaging.
- All goods are covered by a 1 year guarantee against manufacturing defects, although it will be up to our discretion whether or not a product malfunction has been the result of everyday wear and tear.
- Items that are damaged or broken due to the destructive nature of extreme sports can not be replaced free of charge.
General Conditions
- All items must be returned unused, in their original and undamaged packaging, with all accessories, tools, manuals, stickers, and any free gifts included as part of the original order.
- LocoSkates reserves the right to refuse any return that does not meet these conditions.
- LocoSkates reserves the right to deduct an amount from the refund where goods are returned with damaged or missing packaging, to cover the cost of replacement.
- All goods are covered by a 12-month manufacturer's guarantee against manufacturing defects. LocoSkates reserves the right to determine, at its sole discretion, whether a fault is the result of a manufacturing defect or everyday wear and tear.
- Damage or breakage resulting from the inherent risks of extreme sports is not covered under guarantee and will not be replaced free of charge.
- Returns of skates which have been used or tested outdoors will not be accepted. Skates returned with any wheel wear, however minor, will be rejected and the customer will be liable for the cost of the return consignment.
Return Period
- Customers have 365 days from the date of purchase to initiate a return.
- Return labels must not be generated until the customer is ready to dispatch the item, as labels may expire prior to the end of the return period.
Faulty or Warranty Items
- Customers experiencing a fault or warranty-related issue must contact LocoSkates prior to processing a return. Many issues may be resolved remotely without the need to return the item.

Return Shipping — UK
- UK returns must be booked via the DPD or Royal Mail portal accessible at the bottom of the returns page.
- A return shipping fee of £2.99 per consignment will be deducted from the final refund if returning for a refund.
- Items must be securely packaged. Tape and return labels must not be affixed directly to the product's original packaging.
Return Shipping — International
- International returns must be booked via the LocoSkates online returns portal to access discounted shipping rates.
- Customers may alternatively arrange their own return postage at their own discretion.
- Return shipping fees will not be charged at the point of booking; they will be deducted from the final refund upon processing.
- International return shipping costs may exceed the original outbound delivery cost, as outbound delivery costs are partially subsidised by LocoSkates.
- Original delivery charges and any taxes or duties incurred on the original order are non-refundable.
Refund Processing
- Refunds will be processed within 3–5 working days of the returned item being received and inspected by LocoSkates.
- Please note that banks may take a further 3–5 working days to reflect the refund on the customer's statement.
- UK customers should allow up to 5 working days for returns to be processed upon receipt.
