For those of you that don't know already, Nimh has recently been re-branded as 'Shima Skate Manufacturing'. As a result the Nimh models have GOT TO GO. This is why the Nimh Shima 2 skate is now at this silly price. This high-end skate, originally retailing at £200 is now on sale at the price of a budget model. This is not a Sports World style 'Half Price Offer' where the original price has been fabricated, they genuinely had an RRP of £200. The Shima 2 features a comfortable Vicious liner with fluffy, comfy interior. They come with 58mm 90A Nimh wheels on the outside and 42mm Ground Control grind wheels in the middle. The wheels are fitted with ABEC 5 bearings as standard and the frames are the awesome Ground Control F1 frames (worth around £50 alone!). Snap 'em up. When they're gone they're gone.

Please Note: This model may not come boxed (but with a free Loco drawstring carrier)

i was just wondering how long do these skates take to break in ? ive heard they are a little stiff ?

They are fine. Maybe take a couple of days sakting to fully bed them in.

im thinking about buying these skates to get back into skating. i used to skate salomon st 10's and they had a hard shell boot are the boots on these very strong ? and are they versatile skates ? cheers :)

Yes these are super strong. Under the skin that you can see on the picture is a hard shell which is the same shell as the Razoer Cult skates (except with thr toe-cap cut off).

Hi, Are they skates true to size? Just wondering if I should go up or down a size?

Hi There! Everyones foot and perception of size is different but most people are finding these skates fit true to size yes!

i bought a pair of these for my son and the bolts have rounded and the bearings have fallen apart, so we can't get the wheels off, i was wandering if there was any guarantee on the bearing at all?

Hi There - Sorry to hear about your bearings. Bearings are subject to wear and tear and also high impact. For this reason it's common practice to replace bearings regularly and also service them. When tightening and untightening the wheel and frame bolts it's important to be really careful not to round the bolt. This is usually caused by an old allen key (with rounded edges) or undoing the bolt with the allen key at an angle. Bearings are cheap to replace. Hopefully you will be able to get your wheel bolts off by using a fresh 4mm allen key and applying ALOT of downward pressure as you turn. Be really careful the allen key is straight when you are doing this. Also, only use a fresh allen key as the old one could make it worse if it starts to slip.
