Let It Never End

For those of you who haven't had your ear to the ground for the last couple of weeks, Ben Shelbourne (aka slick from Manchester) has released his first full length skate DVD, Let it Never End. The most exciting UK DVD release of 2009 L.I.N.E features sections on our very own Nick Lomax, Mike Salt, Andy Spary and Burston. Check out the trailer, it speaks for itself.

Unit 1 comp / Jam...

Unit 1 skatepark is located in Rochester, Kent. It's kinda south-east London outskirts. The park has some big improvements last year and now has a really cool set-up. They are holding their first inline comp on 28th Nov from 2pm - 8pm. There will be prizes for best trick, best skater, worst stack (!!!) and best under 18 skater. All sounds like good clean fun to me! This event has beenorganised by 3rider TV so props to those guys for getting involved. See you there.

BHC clothes and wheels news

The newest ranges of BHC stuff is trickling in. It all looks really great. There's new Tee's and a backpack arriving early Demcember but most exciting is the new wheels, including a pro wheel for LocoSkates rider Leon Humphries. Here's what the guys at BHC had to say about the new wheel compound: 'We have been working hard on our urethane for over a year in order to create a product we are truly happy with. Its been a long journey because we ourselves rollerblade and wanted the end product to be perfect. We believe the new wheels are set to change the face of wheels as we

it. They feature a brand new clear core and urethane. They last twice as long as any other wheel I have ever used and roll faster aswell. Our team have been raving about them since the samples were finished 6 months ago.'
With all the new releases we also have a buch of last season's BHC T-shirts at a reduced price (£11.99). Follow the link for all BHC clothes, wheels and

Loco Guy Smithers Edit

Here's a short video edit of new LocoSkates flow rider Guy Smithers. Guy is a quick learner, he learnt to skate like this in about the same time it took you to learnt how to say "Dadda"! Enjoy, it's all new footage. Video production by resident videographer Ed Inglis and contributing footage by Chris Rutherford.

Brighton People

Film maker Sim Warren paid a visit to the LocoSkates shopfront last weeko film for part of his 4 minute piece entitled 'Brighton People'. The film discovers what a few selected rollerbladers in Brighton do when they are not rollerblading. Take a look. This is a beautiful display of cinematography so probably best to click through to YouTube and watch this in HD (by pressing play opposite and then clicking on the screen).
