Lomax joins Loco
Reigning Slamm Jamm champion, Nass best trick winner and IMYTA world champion Nick Lomax has joined the LocoSkates team. Lomax was eager to stand for something close to his heart and so joines the likes of Sam Tuffnell, Jenna Downing, Oli | hort and Leon Humpries in representing his shop of choice. Loco Slamm Jamm clean-up
Slamm Jamm thank you Sam! That's right, LocoSkates rider Sam Tuffnell won Slamm Jamm 11 this weekend. Dave Bell's annual event is the longest running aggressive skate event in the UK. The competition was also an official AIL qualifier meaning 'The T-1000' (Tuffnell) will go through to the AIL finals at Woodward West | n California next year, flights paid. Congrats Tuffnell. Loco also came through at the first ever UK Rolling Awards. The ceremony was held on the Friday night at Slamm Jamm where we won the 'UK shop of the year award' and new Loco rider Nick Lomax won the already prestigious 'Skater of the year' award. Nice one |
Remember, remember
...the 5th of November is NOT exclusively about gunpowder, treason and plot. Our friends at the Factory skatepark in Dundee, Scotland will be holding a free skate night this fireworks night. The Factory is an indoor skatepark so this session will be particularly appealing if you're a) into skating more than fireworks, b) It's | raining, c) you are a cat, or d) you are a dog (or any domestic pet for that matter).
